Fragrance: It shows an intensive citrus-like odor but turns out to be less sweet and fruity than Citral. The quality of this Aroma Chemical is very good and comparable to Citronella oil.
Flavor: Due to the rather unstable character of this aldehyde and its intensity it is generally only used in traces for citrus flavors.
