Fragrance: Natural identical substance (main component of many essential oils like lemon grass, litsea cubeba etc.), therefore very useful for fresh, citrus-like, agrumic notes. Limited stability, if exposed to air, alkali or sunlight. Not suitable for detergents and household products.
Flavor: Very commonly used in flavor compositions for imitation of lemon, grapefruit, orange, lime, and thanks to his fresh-citrus note for apple, cherry, strawberry flavors etc.
